The Friends of Happy Retreat host a free community holiday Open House at Happy Retreat each December. The Open House, which is free and open to the public, will show Happy Retreat decorated in period holiday finery and will feature holiday cookies, cider, and music for all.

2024 Craft Beer & Music Festival
The annual Happy Retreat Craft Beer & Music Festival is held on the historic grounds of Happy Retreat, former home of Charles Town founder Charles Washington. Join us for local craft beer, food vendors and touring bands!
