Claymont Mansion Holiday Open House

December 16^th from noon to 4:00pm:  The Historic Claymont Mansion will be holding a Holiday Open House and Fundraiser open to the public. The Claymont Mansion, built in 1812 by Bushrod Corbin Washington,  is the grandest of all the Washington Family homes.   There will be $5 entrance fee per adult for a self guided tour featuring the history and architectural features of the mansion.  Light refreshments will be served.  All funds raised will be used to meet a Matching Grant awarded by the State of WV for a Historical  Restoration project.  Claymont is located at 577 Claymont Mansion Rd, off Huyett Rd in Charles Town, WV.  For more information, email claymontoffice@claymont.org or call 304-725-4437
