The Appalachian Chamber Music Festival is delighted to celebrate the opening night of its inaugural season here at the Barns of Rose Hill. The festival celebrates the rich history, nature and culture of the area through poignant and powerful chamber music experiences that are both meaningful and relevant to our times. ACMF brings together fresh and exciting talent, internationally-recognized artists from near and far who are united by camaraderie and cause for an evening of world-class music.

Katie Tertell
Artistic Director / Cellist
American cellist Katie Tertell is a collaborative and passionate chamber, orchestral, and cross-over artist who resides in the UK. A former member of the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, Katie performs with numerous symphonic and chamber ensembles and enjoys a rich and varied experience as a freelance artist in Europe and America. Katie left her role in 2019 to explore her own collaborative projects, research and work as a pedagogue. She is Artistic Director and Founder of the Appalachian Chamber Music Festival.
