This is an exciting time for the Friends of Happy Retreat as we expand our board and our capacity to achieve our goal of acquiring and operating Charles Washington’s Happy Retreat for the public’s enjoyment and education. We especially look forward to working with the local governments and nonprofit organizations to develop the kinds of programs and activities that will make this splendid estate come to life for the community and the benefit the region’s economy through heritage tourism. We welcome your questions and invite you to join us in shaping the future of Charles Washington’s Happy Retreat. Friends of Happy Retreat Sincerely,
